This is a fabulously graphic quilt in solid Turkey red and off white cotton created in the Geese in Flight pattern. The maker chose to create and then piece her blocks in a positive/negative pattern which creates a lovely effect in the finished quilt. Blocks measure 10 1/2” x 11 1/2” with the smallest triangles measuring approximately 1 1/2” on the short sides, larger triangles 2” on the short sides.

This classic quilt is completely hand pieced and hand quilted entirely in outline stitching. A summer weight quilt with an off white backing and a hand applied 1/4” binding in the same solid Turkey red fabric as used in the quilt top.
