This is a mint condition reversible summer quilt. One side is a courthouse steps log cabin constructed with 9 inch blocks and 1 inch wide log strips, completely done by hand, with a 3/8 inch binding, applied by hand. The reverse side is a bow tie quilt, consisting of approx 7 inch blocks. The border around the entire outside, all the same fabric, is c.1880s purple. There is one stain on the bow tie side which we can restore if you choose. Perfect for use year round, in summer as is, in winter over a down comforter or blanket.
