This little bassinette quilt top is a small graphic treasure in its classic palette of solid red and white. Postage stamps ranging in size from 1 1/8 inches to 1 1/2 inches per side form the checkerboard pattern in this quilt top. There are also interesting longer pieces measuring approximately 3 1/2 inches long, forming crosses here and there. Solid red triangles form the edge of this miniature quilt top attesting to its original intent to be a bassinette quilt. With your backing, filler and a binding it will make your child's crib complete. It would also be a fabulous bit of graphic art hung on the wall. This quilt top was made by hand and put away to be finished into a miniature quilt later – by you, don’t you think? It is in excellent, unused condition.
