A wonderful fragment in great condition! Foundation pieced with an assortment of silks, silk velvets, and silk ribbons, including one black ribbon with silver metallic fleur de lis design. Hand embellished with silk twist thread along seam lines in a variety of embroidery stitches. We finished this fragment with a wool blanket stuffing, ¼ inch separately applied same date black silk binding, and a same date rose floral backing.
