This pretty pastel floral basket would make a lovely piece of wall art! Taken from a 1930's kit quilt this large fragment is the center medallion from that quilt and entirely hand appliquéd in solid cotton fabrics, all pastel hues in shades of yellow, green, pink, purple and deep rose. An open weave basket filled with blooms is surrounded by fine hand quilting accentuating the floral theme with feather sprays, florals and vines throughout the white background.

This lovely piece has been finished with a same date green cotton binding to match the basket and leaves. The perfect accent for your home and to bring a breath of Spring inside any time of the year.
