A wonderful basket quilt just reduced in time for the holiday season! Triple borders are in 2 5/8” green calico, 1 ½” white and 2 3/8” double pink calico and surround the twenty lovely baskets. The baskets are arranged so they look great when viewed from any direction and are comprised of various shades of over dyed greens in solids and calicos for the hand appliqued handles and majority of triangles. Turkey reds in various calicos accent the baskets, with one basket sporting red plaid!

Exquisite hand quilting throughout the quilt includes large feather wreaths in the white joining blocks with half wreaths and echo quilting inside the handles. The triple borders and baskets are covered with fine ¾” cross hatch stitching. The backing is in solid white with an applied machine topstitched 3/8” white binding. This quilt has been hardly used and does have character showing in some areas in the form of shadowing which does not detract in any way from its beauty. It would be perfect either as art on the wall or for use on a bed. Professionally hand washed by Betsey. The shading is not for everyone and therefore the lower price... Quilts are always sent on approval!
