This gorgeous quilt has been hand appliqued from overdyed green, turkey red, turkey red calico and cheddar fabrics with some of the tiniest stitches Betsey has ever seen. Equally fine hand quilting covers the entire piece, and quilted hearts and shamrocks have been liberally sprinkled throughout. We have restored the tips of the buds and stuffed centers of the flowers using c.1815 Turkey red calico. This is a quilt any collector will treasure; on a scale of 1 to 10, Betsey gives this quilt a 15! The only reason this piece is being listed as a sale quilt is the slight wear on some of the solid Turkey red. If enjoyed as wall art, these imperfections will be virtually unnoticeable.
