$1,700 Such a unique and highly graphic color palette on this quilt! The royal blue geese fly in ordered rows across a bright red sky, and create small diamond in a square joining blocks where their rows intersect. This quilt contains the much desired mustard color; lighter on the front and a shade darker on the back. The binding has been turned over from the back, creating a subtle frame for the quilt.

All hand pieced and hand quilted, a lovely surprise awaits those who look closely. The quilter created an elaborate Gothic papercut center medallion design, surrounded by crosshatching in the body and waves flowing around the border. This lovely quilting is camouflaged by the Flying Geese pattern and bold colors on the front, but shows up perfectly on the mustard backing. Therefore, this quilt is totally reversible from a graphic pieced front to an elegant wholecloth back. A truly "two for one" quilt!

A beautifully made Flying Geese quilt that would be perfect on a bed or used as graphic art on the wall. It has been professionally hand washed by Betsey and is ready to ship to you on approval for private viewing.
