A fabulous indigo and white Ocean Waves, this quilt is in unused condition. Hand pieced from an indigo star print and white cotton, the triangles measure 2 x 2 x 2 ¾ inches and the white joining blocks 6 inches square. A 1 ¾ inch interior sawtooth border perfectly frames the body of the quilt, and a 7 inch white border includes a 1/4 inch binding turned over from the front to the back and treadle machine topstitched. The border has been hand quilted with cables, while the remainder of the quilt has been hand quilted in 1 inch crosshatching. The perfect size for a wall, single bed or a throw.
