What an eye pleasing indigo and off-white quilt in a variation of the Broken Dishes pattern. A mesmerizing effect is achieved through the positive/negative arrangement of squares and diamonds in this great piece of art worked completely by hand. A 3 inch off-white border with miniature black stars surrounds the off-white and deep indigo central design. Each block measures just 3 ½ inches square and contains 1 ¾” triangles and a 2 ½” diamond. A single indigo cotton with small off-white arrows and an off-white cotton with miniature indigo acorns are the only two fabrics used in the central design.

The backing is in off-white cotton and the hand applied ¼” binding is in the same fabric as used for the border. Hand quilting consists of outline stitching in the triangles, crosses in the diamonds and parallel lines spaced ¾” apart in the border.

Just a wonderful, warm and cozy indigo and white quilt in excellent condition that would be marvelous as art on your wall or equally as charming on a bed. Professionally hand washed by Betsey. Quilts are always sent on approval!
