A fabulous cozy quilt created from unused upholstery remnants and mohair. Soft and plush, the nap of these fabrics gives such a feeling of dimension and warmth; it just begs to be touched! Four patch squares are comprised of gorgeous and varied upholstery fabrics in a variety of warm and elegant hues and patterns. Tobacco brown and gray-green mohair sashing placed somewhat erratically adds a bit of folk art charm to the quilt which may have originally been created as a carriage blanket or lap robe.

It has been backed with a light olive-taupe wool challis and reverse tied to hold the three layers together. A pillowcase edge topstitched by treadle machine is the perfect finish for the edge of the quilt.
