An exquisite piece of Lancaster Amish textile art with clean, crisp graphics executed in a bold and beautiful palette. This radiant cotton Bethlehem Star showcases 1½ x 3¾ inch diamonds in vibrant, saturated shades of orange, yellow, green, and burgundy on a deep blue ground. The 11 inch wide solid red border adds a stunning element to this skillfully executed quilt.
Very fine hand quilting consists of outline stitching in the diamonds, cross hatch and feathered vine quilting in the blue ground and red border - exquisite hand work. The backing is a lovely floral in chocolate brown, taupe, mustard, blue and white. The front folds to the back to form the 1/4 inch binding.
