A gorgeous and skillfully hand crafted quilt top in the Ohio Star pattern, also known as Tippecanoe & Tyler Too. A wide array of early fabrics, many dating before c.1875, include block prints, geometrics and florals. This is a wonderful find for those who love early fabrics and wonderful graphic design. The star blocks measure 11 inches square and are set on point. Sashing measures 1 1/2 inches wide and is also in a variety of early fabrics. A hand written paper pinned at the corner, which we presume was written by the maker, states her name and the 'Tippecanoe & Tyler Too' pattern name. Very crisp and clean there are some seam pops and one torn square. This beautiful quilt top is just waiting for you to finish with your own backing, binding and quilting.
