A great Tumbling Blocks quilt top in a large size! Each tumbling block is comprised of three diamond shapes approximately 3 inches per side. Entirely hand pieced in nice, even stitches that remain strong. This quilt top has never been used, either as a tied quilt or a tablecloth, as it is in perfect unwashed condition. These are wonderful cottons in a variety of fabric patterns from c.1870 and earlier. Just perfect for the lover of early fabrics and the Tumbling Blocks pattern. What a terrific quilt this would make - it just needs your clever hand to finish it.
