A gorgeous hand pieced quilt top in the Broken Dishes pattern. The maker assembled the Broken Dishes blocks in a four patch formation which gives a lovely overall effect. Each triangle measures just 1⅞ wide. What a treasure trove for antique fabric lovers - just so many wonderful prints from c.1880 and earlier. This top appears unused however it was washed at some point in its life. The hand piecing is very well executed and the top is soft, clean and sturdy - just waiting for your quilting inspiration.
