This is a lovely two color quilt in the Lemon Peel design. Carefully appliquéd by treadle machine the 'petals' and unique border visually pop off the solid white ground for a wonderful graphic effect. The two color palette of solid green and white works beautifully in any décor. Solids are always a welcome and easy addition to any decorating theme as they mix beautifully with patterns and stripes. Each appliquéd block is a large 14 inches square and contains one four petal Lemon Peel appliqué.

What makes this lovely quilt extra special is the unusual border which frames the design. A green inverted scallop adds movement and a touch of elegance to the white outer border. Hand quilting is executed with outline stitching in the appliqués with cable and 4 petal flowers in the white areas and outer border. The white backing is the same fabric as used on the front with a 1/2” applied white binding.

This quilt is refreshing and bright and in wonderful condition. We did find a petal with two well executed fabric weaves done long ago which are very hard to find (we didn't until just recently). Professionally hand washed by Betsey and ready to be shipped to you on approval for viewing in the privacy of your home.
