I can picture a little girl making this doll quilt with her Mother or
Grandmother. What treasured moments they would have. A copy of a late
19th century full size quilt of which I have sold 2 over the past 36
years...They are rare and complicated to make. This little doll's quilt
was created from many different woman's clothing fabrics. The
configuration is exactly that of many an adult's quilt with borders on
three sides. Many of the fabrics were burgundy in color from the 1880's.
A rare and very unusual doll's quilt.
