A lovely and very graphic piece in orange and over dyed green calico on white. Beautifully made, this fragment comes from an original, partially damaged pre Civil War era quilt. We saved this section in excellent condition and used a same date over dyed green calico for the hand applied 3/8 inch binding. The bottom border adds a distinctive and whimsical folk art feel. It was such a perfect piece of art for the wall we added sleeves for hanging.
