This extended nine patch fragment will make either a wonderful wall hanging or a fabulous runner for a table. From New England, there is fabric on here dating back to the 1700s. Most of the fabrics are block print, and a few copper prints. Many of these fabrics are hand painted. The dyes are amazing, and the intricacy of each fabric is incredible. Naturally this quilt was done all by hand, since it was created many years before the sewing machine came into public use.
