This fragment came from an unused quilt. Red, white and blue quilts and fragments are hard to find. Machine pieced and hand quilted. Wonderfully graphic. Post civil war turkey red and confederate blue and white are the colors of this patriotic fragment. Difficult to date due to solid fabrics and no prints, it is somewhere between 1880 and 1910.
