QT511 Ohio Star Quilt Top
c.1935
78 x 78 inches
Pennsylvania
$295
This perfectly pieced Ohio Star quilt top was created during the
Depression with many of the fabrics being from an earlier date.
There are 49 star blocks, each measuring 8-1/2" X 8-1/2 ". The diamonds that make up
each star have 2-1/2" sides. All piecing was executed using a treadle
sewing machine. The sashing is 2-1/2" in width.
We have a variety of colors ranging from black to pink with rows
perfectly coordinated. Personally, I love the variety of fabrics. There
is one brown fabric from the 19th century that needs to be replaced. I
will enclose fabric of your choice (color and design wise) to replace
the brown Stars. Otherwise in perfect condition and ready for you to finish.
Always sent on approval with free shipping.
