The Double Wedding Ring pattern, developed during the second half of
the 1920'S, was the most popular pieced pattern of that era. Mothers
would create this pattern as a wedding gift, woman would piece this
pattern later to be quilted by her friend as the most important quilt of
her new home linens, or a friend...a very good friend or relative would
make this quilt as their gift!
Big! rings, apx 19" across, 2" joining squares in sage green and the
same off-white as in the centers of the rings, ring pieces are 2" by
5/8" by 7/8"
