Completely created from unused fabrics, this scrap bag quilt top is just so visually captivating. Perfect for either a bed or a couch, or as art for your wall.

Each block measures 7" square with the small squares having 1-3/4" sides. There are 56 blocks with 16 pieces in each block. Each block is comprised of 4 four-patch blocks. Sometimes this is easy to see. The sashing is 1-3/4" in width and made from a 1880's burgundy fabric with tiny white polka dots. We have a wonderful variety of fabrics dating from the 1860's to the 1880's. I actually have three original scrapbags from the 19th century with all the pieces inside....dozens of pieces!

This quilt top is simpler to quilt, as all the quilting is straight line.....it just takes time and patience :-)
