This perfect condition Double Wedding Ring quilt top is ready for your
wonderful quilting, either by hand or by machine. The dozens of unused
Calico fabrics are combined to create one of the happiest feeling Double
Wedding Ring tops that I have ever seen. The piecing was perfectly
executed by machine.
The outside to outside measurements of each ring is 22 inches. The
joining squares measure 2-1/2 " on each side. The piecing making up the
circle measures 2-1/2" X 1-1/2" X 1". All fabrics appear to be unused
with every color imaginable seen in the dozens of different prints. The
top has never been washed. The circular edge is a hallmark of this pattern.
We have photographed the top on a flat surface as this seems to work
best for this piece.
The Double Wedding Ring pattern was the most popular pattern created
during the Depression era and has remained a love all these years. What a
