Wow...an antique quilt top that will make a quilt that fits a queen
bed...or a little more than the top of a king size bed. Perfectly hand
pieced from very expensive mid-19th century fabrics.
Each block measures 7-1/2", with the tiny triangles measuring 1-3/4" x
1-1/4" x 1-1/4 ". The green calico sashing measures 2-1/4". All blocks
are on point creating a more sophisticated pattern.
The triangular edge was then finished with a wonderful early double pink
calico on all four sides. The blocks are pieced with a lighter colored
double pink calico.
