A rare find is a woolen American Flag from the Second World War era.
Created from woolen strips of red and white with a woolen blue, with the
stars made from linen and appliqued on both sides! This hard to
photograph quilt was such a challenge because it should not touch the
ground. As a result you are not seeing the flag in all its glory.
Believe there are only 3 very small moth holes.
I would love to know where this flag was flown, but those details are
lost in time. This year, celebrating our 250 American founding, I felt a
perfect time to advertise a symbol to save our Democracy!
