This stunning and sophisticated opticle illusion c.1920's Pinwheel variation quilt is comprised of 25 ...11” square blocks with each block constructed of 4.. 5-1/2” square blocks. The fabric used is a shiny, luxurious silk satin that visually seems to pulsate. All silks used on this quilt are solid colors. The pale 5/8” grosgrain ribbon binding is separately applied, then turned over from the back to the front and top stitched. The entire quilt is pieced by machine. It’s fun to find an antique quilt that would be as at home in a contemporary environment as a traditional one. In amazing unused condition. Ready to send out for you to view in your home.
