Miniature Ohio Star blocks, 1.75" squares, total of 436 squares. I cannot imagine creating such a masterpiece. Someone must have had the most amazing patience and dexterity. The size of the diamonds in the Ohio star is 5/8", and each star is comprised of 8 miniature diamonds. Fabulous array of fabrics. This top appears to be pre-civil war, and has an amazing array of fabrics. Except for the beautiful blue it certainly could have been pieced from scraps. A treasure to behold.
